Best Link-in-Bio Tools for African Creators in 2026: Linktree, Beacons, Feature.fm and PINCHED Links Compared

In short

For African creators, the best link-in-bio tool depends on payouts: Linktree's earning tools do not list Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa or Ghana, Beacons charges 9% on free and Creator plans, Feature.fm suits musicians, and PINCHED Links is free with fan support in naira.

Every African creator eventually faces the same small decision: which link goes in the bio. It looks minor, but it is the first thing a new follower taps, and the tool behind it decides whether that tap can turn into a ticket sale, a gift of support or a sale of your work. The catch is that most popular link-in-bio tools were built for creators in the United States and Europe, so the features on the pricing page are not always features you can use in Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa or Ghana. Here is how four options compare as of 5th November 2026.

What to Check Before You Pick a Bio Link Tool

Three questions matter more than design. Can fans in your country pay you through it? What does it cost you, both monthly and per sale? And does it connect to the things you actually sell, such as tickets, music or digital products? Prices and country lists change often, so confirm them on the tool's own site before you commit.

Linktree

Linktree is the best-known option. Its free plan covers unlimited basic links, and its Pro plan carries 0% selling fees with a seven-day trial, though other transaction and processing fees may still apply. Each payout carries a $0.25 charge.

The catch for African creators is where its earning tools work. Linktree's direct earnings for digital products, bookings and courses are available only in a list of countries that includes the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, much of Europe, Australia and a few others. Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and Ghana are not on that list, and payments run through Stripe. You can still use Linktree as a free link list, and free digital products can be shared on any plan.

Beacons

Beacons offers a free plan with unlimited digital products and affiliate links, but it takes a 9% transaction fee on the Free and Creator plans. Creator costs $10 a month ($8.33 a month on annual billing), and the fee drops to 0% only on Creator Plus, at $30 a month ($25 on annual billing), and Creator Max, at $100 a month.

Payouts are the open question for African creators. A Nairobi-based creator asked Beacons to add more payout options for creators in Kenya and other African countries, suggesting Paystack, M-Pesa, bank transfers and Flutterwave, because PayPal is no longer dependable for many Kenyan creators and Stripe lacks direct support for Kenyan businesses. Check Beacons' current payout options for your country before you build around it.

Feature.fm

Feature.fm is built for musicians more than for general creators, and it is strongest for release campaigns. It offers a free plan with one pre-save service and seven days of insights, then Basic Artist at $8 a month, Artist at $19 a month and Pro Artist at $39 a month. Smart links and pre-save links are unlimited on every plan, and collected emails on the free plan need an upgrade to access.

If your main goal is getting fans to pre-save a single and follow you on streaming platforms, it fits that job. It is less suited to selling event tickets or taking direct support from fans.

PINCHED Links

PINCHED Links is a free link-in-bio page built for African creators. It launched on 5th November with a handle at staypinched.site/l/yourname, a built-in Pinch button so fans can support you directly and get you paid in naira, and automatic display of any PINCHED tickets and products. It is free forever with no paid tier, and fans paying for tickets are not hit with unexpected booking fees.

It does not replace the music-specific tools above if you need pre-save campaigns, and it is newer than the others, so its feature list will keep growing. For a creator who wants fans in Lagos, Abuja or Accra to support them in naira and buy tickets in one tap, it is the option designed around that need.

Which One Should You Choose?

If you are a musician running release campaigns, Feature.fm's pre-save tools are built for that. If you live in a country on Linktree's earning list and want a widely recognised link page, Linktree and Beacons are established choices, so compare the fees above. If you are an African creator, DJ, filmmaker or event organiser who wants fans to pay you in naira and your tickets to appear on the page automatically, PINCHED Links is free to try and takes about a minute to set up.

Whichever you choose, your bio link is one part of how you earn. How African creators mix their income is the place to see how links, tickets, products and brand work fit together, and what platforms pay creators in Nigeria, South Africa and Kenya explains why a link you control matters when a programme does not operate in your country.
