Blaqbonez released his fifth studio album, NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME, on 16th October through Chocolate City Music, a 15-track project with Asake, Victony, Ruger, TML Vibez, Igwe Aka and Monochrome as guests. It follows No Excuses, his 2025 album, and that project's deluxe edition in April 2026.
Who Features on NOMADINHO: 4TH PRIME
The guest list leans on friends and collaborators he has worked with before, alongside newer voices.
Asake, on IKEBE 3000 and CHANEL.
Ruger, on JUSTINA.
TML Vibez, on FINESSE YOU.
Igwe Aka, on I LOVE THIS.
Monochrome, on FYP.
Victony, who also features on the album.
The record runs about 38 minutes and carries the earlier singles BIG PERFORMER, IKEBE 3000 and CHANEL.
The Title and the Idea Behind It
The title plays on the idea of a nomad, an artiste who keeps moving between sounds and personas, while 4TH PRIME signals a new era in his career. The album leans on ambition and levelling up, with nods to Nigerian pop culture and his Igbo heritage.
CHANEL and the Asake Connection
CHANEL is the song that earned Blaqbonez his first No. 1 on the Official Nigeria Top 100. Asake is on it, and their link goes back to their undergraduate days at Obafemi Awolowo University, a friendship that resurfaced when the album was announced on 2nd October.
IKEBE 3000 brought them back together, with a darker sound than CHANEL: choral layers over shadowy drums. The title borrows ikebe, a colloquial word for the backside, and the single is built around flirtation and desire.
Where It Fits in His Run
Emeka Must Shine won Best Rap Album at the 2023 Headies, and No Excuses followed in 2025. This is the fifth studio album, and it lands in a busy month for Nigerian releases, with FOLA's second album also out this month, as PINCHED covered.
