An organiser running a door on PINCHED can hand staff a temporary access code instead of the keys to the whole account. With that code, authorised staff validate QR tickets at the entrance, and the organiser's financial dashboard stays closed to them. Event ticketing with QR check-in and a door board is included from the Pro plan at ₦5,000 a month, and buyers pay no booking fee on top of the ticket price.

What the Door Scanner Does

Most small events share the same weak point on the night: the person at the door needs to check tickets, and the organiser needs to know who got in. PINCHED separates those two jobs.

The organiser sets up the event, its ticket categories and, where available, a guestlist. On the day, authorised staff open the dedicated door-scanning workflow and use a temporary access code to validate each QR ticket. The organiser can track check-ins.

Because the code opens the scanner and nothing else, event-day responsibilities stay apart from the running of the organiser's account and earnings. A volunteer or hired door team can scan tickets without opening the financial dashboard.

Who Gets Event Ticketing on PINCHED

The pricing page lists event ticketing as a paid-plan feature.

  • Free: not included.

  • Pro, ₦5,000 a month: sell event tickets with QR check-in and a door board.

  • Studio, ₦10,000 a month: the same, plus team members with scoped permissions, up to five.

  • Exclusive, ₦20,000 a month: the same, with up to 15 team members.

  • Enterprise, negotiated: unlimited team members and a multi-seat organisation workspace.

Plans run for one month and are never charged automatically. Team members matter for larger events, where a manager, a box-office lead and a door supervisor all need different access.

What an Organiser Keeps From Each Ticket

Buyers see the price the organiser sets and pay no booking or service fee on top. PINCHED takes a commission from the organiser instead, and it falls as the plan rises: 8% on Pro, 6% on Studio and 3% on Exclusive. On a ₦1,000 ticket, a Pro organiser keeps ₦920, a Studio organiser ₦940 and an Exclusive organiser ₦970.

PINCHED explained why this keeps the checkout honest in its piece on why a ticket price should not change at checkout. For organisers weighing the plans against the number of tickets they expect to sell, the break-even maths on each plan shows when a higher plan pays for itself.

What Buyers Get

Each ticket is a digital pass with its own QR code. PINCHED also supports calendar integration, so a buyer can add the event to an Apple or Google calendar, and ticket gifting, so a buyer can pass a ticket to a friend.

Payments for plans run through Interswitch and Quickteller by card, bank transfer or USSD, a setup PINCHED has covered in its explainer on why naira cards fail at dollar checkouts.
