A creator who earns ₦1,000 a month from each of six supporters collects ₦5,400 after PINCHED's 10% share, which is more than the ₦5,000 monthly price of the Pro plan. That is the simplest way to see why monthly support matters: it renews until the fan cancels, so income repeats without the creator posting a new offer each month. The same pricing page that lists the plans shows that monthly supporter tiers, advanced analytics and audience export start at Pro.
How Monthly Support Works on PINCHED
Give a Pinch is how fans back a creator directly, and monthly support is one of its three ways to give, next to one-time donations and dream projects. The fan chooses a creator and an amount, signs in with a confirmed email address and completes payment on the payment provider's secure page. Monthly support renews until the fan cancels, which they can do at any time from their account.
Two details matter for planning. Confirmed contributions are final and non-refundable except where the law requires otherwise, and the creator is credited only after the payment gateway confirms the payment. Every contribution is recorded against the fan's account and the creator who receives it, which is what lets a creator thank the right person.
PINCHED has already explained the one-time side in its piece on how fans back African creators directly. This article is about the repeat side.
What Pro, Studio and Exclusive Add
The pricing page lists three things that bear directly on supporters, and each plan from Pro upwards includes them.
Monthly supporter tiers, which are not on the Free plan.
Advanced analytics and audience export, while basic analytics come with every plan, Free included.
Scheduled publishing, so content can go out on a planned day.
Pro costs ₦5,000 a month, Studio ₦10,000 and Exclusive ₦20,000. Plans run for one month and are never charged automatically, so a creator chooses each month whether to renew. Fan pinches always settle 90/10 whichever plan a creator is on, which means a higher plan does not change how much of a supporter's money the creator keeps. It changes the commission on paid pieces, products and tickets instead, as PINCHED's fee comparison sets out.
The Maths: How Many Supporters Cover Each Plan
This is a PINCHED calculation, not a promise of income. It assumes every supporter gives the same amount each month, that the creator keeps 90% of it, and it ignores any processor fees, because the Give a Pinch page says contributions reach the creator less platform commission and processor fees.

Supporters needed to cover the monthly plan price at a 90% creator share
At ₦1,000 a month each, a creator needs 6 supporters for Pro, 12 for Studio and 23 for Exclusive. At ₦2,000 each, it takes 3, 6 and 12. At ₦500 each, it takes 12, 23 and 45. The rounding is upwards, since a fraction of a supporter cannot pay.
Nothing here says supporters alone should decide which plan to pick. A creator who sells digital products, tickets or paid pieces will also feel the commission change, so supporters are one input to the decision and sales are the other.
What Audience Export Is For
Audience export sits beside advanced analytics on the pricing page. The page does not describe the export file, so the exact fields are something to check inside the creator studio before relying on them.
Basic analytics come with every plan, so any creator can see how content is doing. Advanced analytics and export are the step up for a creator whose audience has grown enough to need a closer look.
Who This Suits
Monthly supporter tiers fit a creator whose audience already comes back for the same kind of content: a series, a column, a podcast or a recurring music or film project. For that creator, a handful of steady supporters can cover the Pro plan before any sale is counted. A creator still building a first audience can start on Free and upgrade once supporters appear.
