Persistence has a sound, and this week it is Afro soul. Legendary Suni spent four years pitching for a Flyfest slot before he ever got on a stage opening for Davido. On Sunday, he brings his own Hypnotized Tour to Blake Resort, Abuja — with Atela, Ferrycee, Lucase 2, Amuta Stone, Qiqii and Tchella on the bill, and entry free.
If you are in Abuja, this is the one. If you are not, the story of how long the road to a headline slot really runs is still worth the read.
